The 720S is McLaren's idea of the everyday supercar: light, ferociously quick and engineered around the driver. The convertible takes that and removes the roof, and in orange it is impossible to miss. Open the doors and the whole car announces itself.
Orange Against the Skyline
Miami gives the 720S the backdrop it deserves: palm-lined boulevards, art deco facades, the glass towers of Brickell. Drive it across the Venetian Causeway at sunset, park it outside a Wynwood gallery, or take it north on A1A with the roof down. It looks right everywhere, and it looks best moving.
The Car
A 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 710 horsepower. This is the convertible, with the roof open to the sky, and the doors lift upward and forward in McLaren's signature style. Orange paint, carbon detailing and two seats set low in a cabin focused on the road ahead. Exterior: Orange. Engine: 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8. Power: 710 hp (720 PS). Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive. 0-60 mph: About 2.8 seconds. Top speed: 212 mph with the roof up. Seats: 2. Roof: Retractable hardtop
Behind the Wheel
The 720S is startlingly fast and unusually communicative. The steering talks, the brakes bite, and the engine pulls hard all the way to the limiter with the roof down so you hear it all.
Rates and Handoff
The 720S starts from $1,595 per day. Weekends, holidays and event weeks can move the final number, so send your dates and we confirm the all-in daily rate. A security deposit is authorised on your card at handoff and released once the car is checked back in, and the amount is confirmed with your quote.
