About Trogir
Trogir is the closest charter base to Split Airport, about ten minutes by road, which makes it the easiest way to go from a flight to a deck on the same afternoon. The old town sits on a small island between the mainland and Čiovo, a walled medieval grid of stone lanes and a cathedral, and it is listed by UNESCO for good reason. From the marina the central Dalmatian islands are the same reach as from Split: Šolta and Drvenik close by, Brač and Hvar a little further, Vis beyond. The yachts here are chartered by the week with their crew, and the week is planned around the wind and the anchorages your group wants.
Trogir Old Town
A walled town on its own small island, joined to the mainland and to Čiovo by short bridges. Worth an evening ashore before departure or on the last night.
The Blue Lagoon, Drvenik
A shallow, sheltered lagoon between Drvenik Veli and Krknjaši, close to Trogir. Clear water and a short run, so it suits the first afternoon.
Best Time to Visit Trogir
May to October is the season. June and September give warm water and space in the anchorages; July and August are the peak and book first. The summer maestral usually fills in from the northwest in the afternoon, and the captains move the plan when a bura is forecast.
Can we charter for a day rather than a week?
The yachts listed here are offered by the week as standard. Shorter charters are not offered as standard; ask us and we will check with the crew.
What is the APA?
The advance provisioning allowance, 35% of the charter rate, paid on top of the rate. It covers fuel, food, drinks, port and marina fees during the week.
