They want a kitchen, a pool, a garden, and a short drive. And because the tournament is at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens rather than in the city, the short drive is the part most people get wrong. Our North Miami Beach and Miami Shores houses are the closest cluster of large properties we hold to the grounds, and several of them sit in the twelve-to-twenty guest range that suits a tennis trip: two families, a group of friends, or a set of colleagues rotating through sessions.

A fortnight is a different booking from a weekend
Most event travel is three nights. The Miami Open is two weeks, and almost everything about the right property changes when the stay gets that long.
A kitchen stops being a nice feature and becomes the thing you use twice a day. Laundry matters. So does having more than one place to sit, because fourteen days in a house where the only communal space is one room is fourteen days of everyone in the same room. Outdoor space carries more weight than in a short stay, because mid-March in Miami is genuinely pleasant and the pool deck becomes the default room. And the number of bathrooms stops being a detail and becomes the single most common source of friction.

Proximity to Hard Rock Stadium, and why it decides this trip
Hard Rock Stadium is at 347 Don Shula Drive in Miami Gardens, north of the city. It is not in South Beach, it is not in Brickell, and the difference on a day you are making the trip twice is real.
Our northern cluster is the closest set of large houses we hold. Villa Ruby is the strongest fit for a tennis fortnight: nine bedrooms sleeping twenty, nine full en-suite bathrooms with no shared pairs, and a covered outdoor living room, which over two weeks is the room everyone actually uses. Villa Jasper takes eighteen across nine en-suite bedrooms and adds a private putting green and a turf terrace. Villa Emerald sleeps twenty with two master suites, one on each floor, which suits two families sharing, though two pairs of bedrooms share Jack and Jill bathrooms.
Villa Sapphire and Villa Onyx are the eight-bedroom options for eighteen guests, with Villa Onyx running to roughly 5,750 square feet, all eight bedrooms en-suite plus a half bath, a gazebo and a covered terrace. In Miami Shores, slightly closer to the city, Villa Indigo takes eighteen across eight bedrooms, while Villa Summercrest and Villa Reverie each take twelve, which is the right size for a single family or a group of six adults who want room to spread.
If the group is smaller, or if the trip is as much about Miami as about the tennis, the houses further south open up: Villa Crest on its hilltop for eighteen with an infinity-edge pool over the skyline, Villa Savant with its rooftop infinity pool and spa, or Villa Marya, which puts six bedrooms on a single level and is the right answer when someone in the group should not be doing stairs twice a day for two weeks.
What else is happening in that fortnight
One thing worth knowing before you plan the second week. Miami Music Week, which includes the Winter Music Conference and Ultra, runs from March 24 to 28, 2027. That falls inside the Miami Open window, in the same city, and it draws on the same pool of large houses.
For most tennis groups that is simply a fact to plan around: the closing weekend of the tournament is the busiest few days in Miami that month, traffic is heavier, and the houses that are still open by then are fewer. For a few groups it is an opportunity, because the two events are genuinely compatible if the people you are travelling with want both.
Either way, the conclusion is the same. If your trip includes March 24 to 28, treat it as a peak-demand booking rather than an ordinary one, and do not assume the house you want will still be there in February.
The rest of the fortnight, roughly March 14 to 23, is a much calmer booking and the better value inside the same tournament.
Getting to the grounds, and what we confirm first

Over a two-week tournament this is usually the single most useful thing we arrange after the house, because a group of twelve does not move as one, sessions run day and evening, and people want to leave at different times.
A yacht day is a common addition in the middle weekend, when there is a natural lull between the early rounds and the closing stages.
