Romantic villa retreat for destination weddings

Wedding Villas in Mykonos

1 private home in Mykonos, Greece
A Mykonos wedding lives on two decisions: the view and the estate. Get those right and everything else (the tent, the flowers, the boat charter for the ceremony day) organizes itself around them. Get them wrong and the wedding turns into a resort event by another name. The point of doing this on the island is that the ceremony happens on the terrace, the dinner happens under the stars on the lawn, and the whole thing is anchored to the same house the wedding party sleeps in.
The homes here were chosen because they carry a real wedding capacity, not just a Cyclades photograph. Villa Iman sleeps twenty four in twelve bedrooms and hosts up to one hundred and fifty guests with a tented setup. Villa Lavan and Villa Moana are the ten and nine bedroom buyouts on the west side of the island, both of which give sunset directly off the ceremony terrace. Villa Emiko rounds out the set at eight bedrooms for the smaller wedding of sixty to eighty.
Mykonos vendor sourcing is where our concierge earns the fee. The florist that photographs well on the island, the DJ who understands the room rather than the club, the tent company that will actually show up on the day, and the boat that ferries guests from the port to the villa if you want the entrance to be a Riva. All of it lands as one plan, not as five vendor DMs the couple is fielding at midnight.

Our concierge matches the villa, holds the dates, and stages the plan (chef, transport, beach club, boat) inside the same trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest wedding a Mykonos villa hosts on property?
The twelve bedroom estates in this set host up to one hundred and fifty guests for ceremony and dinner with a professional tented setup. Estates in the seven to nine bedroom range host sixty to one hundred comfortably. Anything larger routes to a private estate outside this collection.
When should we book the villa for a Mykonos wedding?
Twelve to eighteen months out for peak weeks (June through early September), which is when the largest homes lock. Shoulder weeks (May, late September, October) can be sourced inside six months.
Do you handle vendors on the ground, or do we bring a planner?
Both models work. Most couples bring a lead planner and we integrate. If you want us to source the planner (there are three on the island we work with regularly, each with fifty plus weddings under them), we make the intro and step back.
What is the wind like, and does it affect the ceremony?
The meltemi wind is real from mid July through August, and it will move a ceremony from the outer terrace to a sheltered courtyard on some days. The homes in this set have both options. Vendors on the island plan for it as a matter of course.
Can guests stay at the villa or do we need to book hotels nearby?
The wedding party stays on property. The extended guest list is placed at the boutique hotels and resorts within a five to fifteen minute drive of the villa. The concierge holds the block.
