ERentals Exclusive ("ERentals," "we," "us") operates a luxury vacation rental booking platform at erentalsexclusive.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

When you submit a booking inquiry or contact us, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, requested travel dates, party size, destination, and any free-text notes you provide. When you complete a booking, we additionally collect payment details (processed and stored by Stripe, not by us) and government identification where required by the Property Owner. We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and the pages you visit, used for security, attribution, and to improve the site.

We use personal information to: respond to inquiries, facilitate bookings with Property Owners, process payments, send transactional emails (booking confirmations, balance reminders), comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve our platform. Marketing emails are sent only to subscribers and can be unsubscribed at any time via the link in every message.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our site, including which pages they view, how far they scroll, and where they click. Clarity captures mouse movement and click coordinates, and may record session replays with the contents of form fields masked by default. Clarity is a subprocessor operated by Microsoft Corporation. Recordings are stored for up to 30 days and then deleted. Clarity does not load at all unless you accept on the consent banner. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" button in section 6 below, or the matching link in the footer of this site. Microsoft's privacy commitments for Clarity are documented at . We do not sell or share Clarity data with third parties.

We share necessary booking details (name, email, phone, dates) with the Property Owner to facilitate your stay. We rely on the following subprocessors to operate the platform: Vercel (website hosting, which processes your IP address to serve every page), Supabase (our database, which holds inquiry and booking records), GoHighLevel (our customer relationship system, which receives the name, email, phone and trip details from every inquiry), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics, email delivery via Workspace), Microsoft (Clarity), Meta (ad attribution, you can opt out of Meta ad personalization in your Meta account settings), TikTok (ad attribution), Mailchimp (transactional and marketing email), and Sentry (error tracking). Each operates under its own privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Before you answer the banner, the site sets no cookies at all and contacts no advertising or analytics company. It does write a small amount of first-party data into your own browser storage, which never leaves your device until you send us an inquiry: an anonymous id for your visit, your consent choice once you make one, which pages and photos you looked at, and the campaign or link that brought you here. We use the last two to attribute an inquiry to the source that produced it, and we send them to us only if you choose to submit a form. If you decline, we drop the advertising click identifiers (from Meta, Google, TikTok and Microsoft) that may have been in the link you arrived on, and we keep only the plain campaign tags. Everything else is off until you say yes. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity are all held back until you accept on the consent banner. If you decline, none of those scripts are downloaded and none of them run, so no analytics or advertising cookies or browser identifiers are set by them. Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics and advertising storage by default on every page load, before any Google tag can run, and is only switched to granted when you accept. Separately from the browser tags above, when you submit an inquiry or complete a booking we send a server-to-server conversion record to Meta so we can measure which of our advertising reached you. It contains your email, phone and name in irreversibly hashed form plus the value of the request, and it is sent whether or not you accepted the browser tags, because it is how we account for our advertising spend. You can object to this processing, or ask us to suppress it for you, by emailing info@erentalsexclusive.com, and you can opt out of Meta ad personalisation in your Meta account settings. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button below, or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of this site. Withdrawing stops the tags, deletes the advertising identifiers they set in your browser, and reloads the page so nothing that was already running keeps running. We ask again after 12 months, and whenever the set of tags behind the banner changes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, email info@erentalsexclusive.com from the address associated with your records. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We retain booking and inquiry records for 7 years for tax and dispute-resolution purposes. Clarity session recordings are retained for 30 days by Microsoft, then deleted. Marketing email records are retained until you unsubscribe plus 90 days for suppression-list compliance.

We are based in the United States. If you access our platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US and other jurisdictions where our subprocessors operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers from the EU/UK.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to active customers and a banner on the site. The "Effective" date above reflects the last revision.
