ERentals Exclusive ("ERentals," "we," "us") operates a luxury vacation rental booking platform at erentalsexclusive.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

When you submit a booking inquiry or contact us, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, requested travel dates, party size, destination, and any free-text notes you provide. When you complete a booking, we additionally collect payment details (processed and stored by Stripe, not by us) and government identification where required by the Property Owner. We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and the pages you visit, used for security, attribution, and to improve the site.

We use personal information to: respond to inquiries, facilitate bookings with Property Owners, process payments, send transactional emails (booking confirmations, balance reminders), comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve our platform. Marketing emails are sent only to subscribers and can be unsubscribed at any time via the link in every message.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our site, including which pages they view, how far they scroll, and where they click. Clarity captures mouse movement and click coordinates, and may record session replays with form contents and personal information masked by default. Clarity is a subprocessor operated by Microsoft Corporation. Recordings are stored for up to 30 days and then deleted. You can decline analytics at any time using the consent banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing the `analytics_consent` key from your browser's local storage (in your browser developer tools, run `localStorage.removeItem('analytics_consent')` and refresh). We share necessary booking details (name, email, phone, dates) with the Property Owner to facilitate your stay. We rely on the following subprocessors to operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics, email delivery via Workspace), Microsoft (Clarity), Meta (ad attribution, you can opt out of Meta ad personalization in your Meta account settings), Mailchimp (transactional and marketing email), and Sentry (error tracking). Each operates under its own privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use first-party cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your consent choice, and attribute inquiries to their source. We use third-party tags for analytics (Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). The consent banner on your first visit lets you decline analytics and session recording; advertising pixels fire on conversion events only (form submission, booking) and can be blocked at the browser level via standard tracking-protection settings.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. We retain booking and inquiry records for 7 years for tax and dispute-resolution purposes. Clarity session recordings are retained for 30 days by Microsoft, then deleted. Marketing email records are retained until you unsubscribe plus 90 days for suppression-list compliance.

We are based in the United States. If you access our platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US and other jurisdictions where our subprocessors operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers from the EU/UK.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to active customers and a banner on the site. The "Effective" date above reflects the last revision.
