A Positano wedding is a coastline that photographs itself. The cliffs, the pastel houses stacked above the sea, the lemon groves, the way the light softens at six in the evening: none of it needs a set. What the trip needs is the right villa, because the town itself does not have the flat ceremony lawns or the reception rooms of a resort market. The villa is the venue. Our Amalfi Coast collection is deliberately small. Villa Oliviero and Villa Mon Repos sit in Positano proper with the terraces and view corridors a ceremony needs. Villa Ferida in nearby Praiano gives you a quieter approach for the same view of Capri and Li Galli, with a lower guest count if the wedding is intimate. Each home has been staffed for private events and each has a kitchen that a real caterer can work out of. The wedding on the Amalfi Coast is a coordination job. Municipal permits for a civil ceremony, transport around the SS163 which has one lane in each direction and no place to turn a Sprinter, the boat that runs late guests around from Amalfi town, the florist who understands the wind on a Positano terrace.
