Discover luxury villas in Nice and the French Riviera. Mediterranean views, private pools, Provencal charm. Book direct with ERentals Exclusive.

Nice is the cultural anchor of the French Riviera, a city that has attracted artists, aristocrats, and the simply curious for two centuries. The Promenade des Anglais curves along the Bay of Angels. The old town (Vieux Nice) hides behind its Baroque facades a maze of markets, restaurants, and life lived outdoors. Cap Ferrat, just east of Nice, is home to some of the most valuable real estate in Europe. Our Nice collection focuses on private villas and residences that offer this Riviera lifestyle: morning market runs, afternoon swims, and evenings where dinner stretches until the Mediterranean turns dark.

Vieux Nice (Old Town)

The Baroque heart of the city. Cours Saleya flower market, narrow lanes, and restaurants where the cooking is Nicoise in the original sense.

Cap Ferrat

The exclusive peninsula east of Nice. Grand villas, tropical gardens (Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild), and some of Europe's most expensive private property.

Cimiez

The elevated residential quarter. Matisse Museum, Roman ruins, and Belle Epoque architecture surrounded by olive groves.

Villefranche-sur-Mer

The picturesque bay village between Nice and Cap Ferrat. Colorful waterfront, deep natural harbor, and a charm that has not changed in decades.

What Nice Is Known For

Morning shopping at Cours Saleya market for flowers, produce, and spices. Swim at hidden coves along the coastal path between Villefranche and Cap Ferrat. Visit the Matisse Museum and Chagall Museum, both in Nice. Drive the Grande Corniche for the most dramatic coastal road in Europe. Day trip to Monaco (20 minutes), Cannes (30 minutes), or Saint-Paul-de-Vence (25 minutes).

Best Time to Visit Nice

June through September is the Riviera season. July and August are peak (crowded beaches, higher prices). June and September offer warm weather with thinner crowds. Nice is pleasant even in spring and fall, though the sea is cooler.

Getting There

Nice Cote d'Azur Airport (NCE) is the third busiest in France with direct flights from most European cities and connections worldwide. The airport is 15 minutes from the city center. Private transfers arranged to your villa.

Nice or Saint-Tropez?

Nice is a real city with culture, museums, and year-round life. Saint-Tropez is a seasonal resort village focused on beach clubs and nightlife. Nice offers more variety and a longer season. Both are excellent for different reasons.

Is Nice expensive?

Nice is more affordable than Saint-Tropez or Monaco while offering similar Riviera quality. Cap Ferrat and the exclusive areas command premium rates. The city center offers better value than the coastal enclaves.

Do I need a car?

In Nice city, no. Public transport and walking cover the center well. For Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, and excursions along the coast, a car is very helpful. We arrange luxury vehicle rental and private drivers.

What about day trips?

Monaco (20 min), Cannes (30 min), Saint-Paul-de-Vence (25 min), Eze village (15 min), and the Italian border (30 min). The Riviera's concentrated geography makes day trips easy.
